Tony Awards 2013: Patina Miller Wins Best Actress In A Musical

She is living her dream and a dream it is. Patina Miller is dazzling in the newly revived musical Pippin. She plays The Leading Player, originally played by Ben Vereen, and makes history winning the Tony Award for her role. For the first time in Tony history a male and female have won the Tony award for playing the same role. This is Patina’s second nomination and her first win. She gives a very heartfelt speech.
