Amber Iman from an early age was active in the arts. She attended Howard University and graduated magna cum laude, with a BFA in Musical Theatre Amber made her Broadway debut as the High Priestess of Soul, Nina Simone, in “Soul Doctor”, earning rave reviews.Amber returns to Broadway in the spring in “Shuffle Along, Or, The Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed.” Off-Broadway, she played “Mrs. Jefferson/Seasons of Love Soloist” in RENT (New World Stages), and “Hannah” in “A Civil War Christmas” (NY Theatre Workshop).
