Dee Dee Bridgewater Stars In Lady Day The Billie Holiday Musical

Billie Holiday continues to live on the stage. This time in Tony and Grammy Award winner Dee Dee Bridgewater (The Wiz) in the Off-Broadway musical Lady Day. Along with her are David Ayers as Robert, Billie Holiday’s manager; and Rafael Poueriet as the assistant stage manager; with bass player Jim Cammack, saxophone player Neil Johnson, drummer Jerome Jennings and pianist Bill Jolly.

“features a cavalcade of Holiday hit songs and tells the inspired and heart-wrenching story of how Billie attempts a final comeback performance.”

Show starts previews September 19th with an official opening on October 3rd at the Little Shubert Theatre
