In an African inspired bomber jacket, Cedric Neal takes you thru a journey singing Stevie Wonder’s ‘Higher Ground’ in week 2 of The Voice UK 2019 Blind Auditions! Known for his portrayal of Berry Gordy in Motown: The Musical UK, he has also been seen on Broadway in After Midnight and Porgy and Bess. Watch as he brings the judges and the audience to their feet. He even cuts a little step himself; it gets that good.

Judges on this season of The Voice Uk include Jennifer Hudson (The Color Purple, Hairspray Live) will.i.am, Olly Murs, and Sir Tom Jones.

Billy Porter Sings His Heart Out In One Take With “Love The Pain Away”

Tony and Grammy Award-winning, Billy Porter, released a new live music video recently! The Kinky Boots star and Broadway legend recorded a live version of his original song “Love the Pain away” as a part of Michael Korte’s One Take series. Now known as a Golden Globe nominee for his performance in FX’s ‘Pose,’ Porter wrote the song after the Columbine massacre.

The One Take series captures musical performances in a single take. In this performance, the uplifting number is backed by The Sanctuary Band and vocalists Lencia Kebede, India Carney, and Eric Lyn. This SANGIN’ group of vocalists give a chilling and beautiful performance of the song.

Porter built his career in the theatre and is known for his work in musicals Kinky BootsShuffle Along, and Grease. However, he is no stranger to the music industry. He has four full albums available for streaming now on all music streaming platforms; spanning from classic Rodger and Hammerstein to his original music.
