Ready to dance with somebody?  Broadway’s biggest belters will take on legendary music icon Whitney Houston in the upcoming edition of “Broadway Sings: Whitney Houston.”

Broadway Sings has become a community staple, combing through the timeless music of pop icons with unique orchestrations and the voices of some of the hottest players in musical theater. With original arrangements set to our favorite Whitney songs, the acclaimed series is putting up their 11th concert accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra led by  musical director Joshua Stephe Kartes and a performer line-up to DIE for.

Scheduled to sing select numbers from the diva’s memorable canon are Danielle Brooks (The Color Purple), Nick Rashad Burroughs (Kinky Boots), Nicholas Christopher (Motown), Lilli Cooper (Spring Awakening), Carly Hughes (Chicago), Amber Iman (Shuffle Along), Aisha Jackson (Waitress), Marcus Paul James (Rent), Joaquina Kalukango (The Color Purple), Mykal Kilgore (The Book of Mormon), Jamard Richardson (The Book of Mormon), Saycon Sengbloh (Eclipsed), and Marisha Wallace (Something Rotten!).

Broadway Sings Whitney Houston will hit the stage Sunday, April 10 at 8 P.M. at the Highline Ballrom  For more information, visit BroadwaySingsConcert.com.
